Albert Moya moved to NYC in 2011 to study cinema and came back with his debut piece: American Autumm, an elegant, ironic, sensitive and melodramatic short film that portrays the reality of New York society. In his short but successful career, we’d like to point out, apart from his portraits of personalities such as Ricardo Bofill, Xavier Corberó and Linda Rodin for Nowness, a piece he created for Dries Van Noten’s Spring-Summer 2015 collection.

Albert’s maturity is impressive for a director his age. Not only does he have very clear ideas about what he wants, but he also defends them like a veteran convinced of his talent and personality. The intensity and passion he puts in his work are the biggest quality commitment a creator can offer.
