In February 2015, I was contacted by Lula Japan magazine to photograph and produce a 12-page editorial.
The initial idea of the story was based on the different meanings of the word “blue”, and we chose to mix that with elements of the “Space Age”. Sitges seemed an ideal place for the shooting: we had the sea there, good weather, several typical late 60s/early 70s buildings… Exactly what we were looking for. The day before the shooting, we met with Lula’s creative team and stylist. We went over the different looks and agreed upon the localizations. The whole styling for the story consisted in presenting spring-summer 2015 collections. Once more, the layout came up from a first idea of mine I shared with the rest of the creative team.
